6.53" FHD IPS Display with no PWM
With resolution of 2340x1080, the G1S phone is capable of displaying Full HD videos; however, lack of DRM L1 support limits some streaming services (e.g. Netflix) to SD resolutions.
The IPS screen is - according to NotebookCheck - flicker-free (no PWM). It's maximum brightnes of approx 400 cd/m2 places it relatively low on the brightness chart - outdoor readability in full sun may be less than ideal.
Video streaming
With 5G and WiFi 5 support, connectivity will not slow you down, or limit the bandwidth of video streaming - whether inbound or outbound.
The FHD screen makes watching Youtube videos in full HD resolution very enjoyable.
If you are a hardcore Netflix fan, this phone may not be a first choice for you - despite the full HD screen, the device is certified at DRM L3 only, which means that you will be limited to watching SD resolution videos.
However, other than maybe Cat S62 Pro (which is now 3 years old), you may be out of luck, if you want to find an L1 thermal camera phone - none of the rugged phone makers (AGM, Blackview, Doogee, Ulefone) seem to have L1 certification in any of their thermal imaging phones at the moment.
Luckily, not all streaming services disable full HD streaming on the device - e.g. Disney+ runs at full HD resolution. See photos below left (top in mobile view) is Disney+, right is Netflix.
